Federal Science and Technical College (FSTC), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State – the centre of academic excellence. The college which is the only Federal Science and Technical College for girls in the country was established with the mandate of imparting knowledge and skills for self reliance as well as for the provision of quality basic education, pre-professional Science and Vocational education for the production of artisans, skilled man power and for further education in science and Technology occupations. This citadel of learning which is located in a serene environment of Aka Community in Uyo LGA is conducive for the learning of both science and technical subjects with well equipped laboratories and workshops for the grooming of future stars. Records are available of our ex-students shinning in different Science and Technical Fields like Marine Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer / ICT, Medicine/surgery, Civil Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Building / Woodwork etc.
